This fall, jewelry has been making a splash on the runways and beyond. We seriously can’t get over some of the Parisian inspired accents seen on the runway from F/W 2014 shows last quarter. Since the weather is finally cooling off and the leaves are beginning to change colors we thought it would be the perfect time to get you excited for the upcoming jewelry trends to come.

Trend 1: Crystal Accents The dynamic creative duo behind Dolce & Gabbana created a contemporary fairytale for their F/W show. We love the ladylike details including embellished small evening bags, gloves, and statement necklaces. Think large details such as enchanted, vibrant flowers to set this trend off right. Taking the crystal trend a step further was Givenchy with their elaborately accented necklines in exotic colors. We love the way the light reflects off the rich crystal hues in hunter, plum, and sienna. This look exudes a glamorous 1970’s exotic skin vibe that will add elegance to any outfit despite the occasion. Our favorite duo at the house of Gucci also got us excited for the crystal trend with beautiful pastel accents of powder-puff fur and translucent crystal bracelets. This look is reminiscent of the 1970’s glamour dolls of Hollywood and London and is sure to add sparkle and glamour into your wardrobe. Pair with a slick high ponytail and dramatic lashes for a 70’s glamazon inspired look.

Trend # 2 Gold Accents We love the reference to the mod 1960’s this season with models dressed in sexy mini-dresses and Mary Jane shows. Geometric patterns were another noteworthy trend as seen on Yves Saint Laurent, but perhaps the best takeaway from his runway show was the incorporation of gilded gold accents. Continuing with the gold trend, we also loved the round gilded necklaces seen on Maiyet’s runway. We love the understated elegance of smooth, high polished rings and necklaces. Another loveable trend for fall and winter is the amazing layered chains seen at Moschino. We love this look with quilted jackets, a subtle smoky eye, and loose waves for an effortless a la Chanel look. Overall the trends these upcoming falls are indefinitely back to the 1960’s and 1970’s. Think high-fashion glamour with clean lines. Jewelry this season should be bold, flashy, and luxurious. Let your accessories bring on the flare. How do you plan to rock next seasons hottest trends?
